About the workshop:

The workshop will be an introduction to Reverse painting which is in itself is a complex and tricky medium. Participants will explore how it differs from canvas painting through step-by-step guidance. Much like printmaking, reverse painting often results in accidental effects that add a unique dimension to the artwork. This hands-on approach ensures individual attention, fostering creative expression and a deeper appreciation for the art form. We will also closely observe Mani da’s reverse painting section displayed in the gallery during the workshop.
