Inspired by the amazing work of 18th century India’s miniature painter Nainsukh and his biography, the film revolves around the master’s passions and devotions. After leaving his father’s workshop, Nainsukh becomes an official court artist of the Rajput Princes of Jasrota. The film contains meticulous recreations of Nainsukh’s paintings through compositions set amidst the ruins and environs of Jasrota palace where the artist was retained.
