About Making Space:

Alsana lives in a small but chaotic neighbourhood in Ahmedabad. In a place like this, a room of one’s own is hard to come by, but Alsana has been given a corner. Only her own rules apply here.

Nikita Parikh has worked with children for many years, travelling to classrooms across the country while working with Teach For India. During her Masters’ degree in Education at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she started researching and using participatory media with teenagers. As a filmmaker, she is driven by creating understanding, empathy and change.
