โ€˜๐—˜๐˜†๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐˜† ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—”๐—ฟ๐˜โ€™ leads young readers to the magic of folk and tribal art traditions in India, from which emanate all motifs, designs, hues, shapes, strokes, and even ways of being in our culture. It covers eight indigenous Indian painting traditions to explore their genesis, stories, forms, techniques, processes, and artists, layer by layer, and entices the reader to engage with each through cues to contemplate, investigate, and create. The ingenious approach of the Eye Spy series brings forth a new understanding upon every perusal of the book, thereby making it a perfect long-term companion in the artistic awakening of the reader.

It is published by Cheenti, an imprint ofย @ektara_india. Ektara Trust is Takshilaโ€™s Centre for Childrenโ€™s Literature & Art. Located in Bhopal, Ektara is working towards enriching a childโ€™s world with various colors and experiences of art and literature.
