Film Southasia (FSA) has been at the forefront of promoting documentary filmmaking since its establishment in 1997. Through its biennial festival in Kathmandu and various screenings, discussions, and workshops across Southasia, FSA aims to popularize and elevate the genre of Southasian non-fiction. By harnessing the power of film, FSA endeavors to not only represent the region internationally but also inspire reflection and drive change at the grassroots level.
