Based on a short story by Padmashri Vijaydaan Detha, the play follows two Rajasthani sahukaars who promise their unborn children in marriage. When one raises their daughter as a son and marries her to another girl, the truth unfolds. The production received the Gender Bender Grant in 2016 and has toured widely.

Neha Singh is a theatre producer, director, playwright, actor, and author who runs the Rahi Theatre Company. She has created and toured acclaimed productions, authored twenty award-winning books, and founded the Why Loiter Campaign in 2014. She is widely recognised for her work in theatre and gender sensitisation.
