Join us for a talk by Nina Sabnani on Saturday, 04 February 2023 at 6.30 pm.
There are lived stories that never make it to the pages of history. They lie dormant as memories, unheard, often unacknowledged and disappear with the owners of memories. Through her collaborative work with the keepers of memory, Nina attempts to interpret and chronicle memories of individuals and communities and present these oral histories in the form of animated films. In this session, she will share some of her animated films and discuss her approach as well as the challenges of working with the memories of others.
