The workshops will use KG Subramanyan’s books for children to encourage creative practice with words and images. Exploring the ideas embedded in the books, the workshops will use word play and collage to focus on children’s voice and facilitate their self-expression. The workshop for children in the age group 7-10 years will centre around his books about the animals and the workshop for children in the age group 11-14 will be based on the books about power and inequality.
