A dramatised play reading “Charu’s Story” in English is a trans-creation of Rabindranath Tagore’s celebrated novella, Nashtanirh (The Broken Nest). The English dialogue is interspersed with renditions of Rabindrasangeet (songs composed by Tagore) in the original. The presentation of this poignant tale of love, marriage, betrayal and empowerment is our humble homage to the genius of Tagore.
