Join us at Arthshila Ahmedabad for a talk ‘Worldbuilding in Immersive Experiences’ by Alap Parikh.

How is an immersive experience created, and what is it? What is the relationship between technology and art/authorship in immersive mediums? Through the lens of narrative and interactivity, this session will explore and discuss Alap’s projects across diverse mediums such as physical installation, virtual and mixed reality, and live performance. In doing so, it aims to help the audience develop a perspective on these emerging art forms.

About Alap Parikh:

Alap is an artist and technologist interested in novel forms and structures of story-driven immersive experiences. He works closely with other multidisciplinary artists to create projects inspired by the constantly evolving dialogue between creative intention and current technology. His work has been shown in festivals and museums across India, Europe, USA, Australia and South America, including Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Orlando Museum of Art.
