DETAILS
Date: 07 December 2025 | Sunday
Time: 6.30 PM Onwards
Performance:
Do You Know What You Are Doing is a two-part performance exploring the idea of suffering offered to God in exchange for salvation, drawing from Ethel Cain’s Perverts and La Faust’s PENTECOSTAL series. The first act, Punish, moves through emptiness, numbness, and the suspended time of waiting for pain to end. The second act, Dust Bowl, reflects on what led us there and questions whether such suffering holds any meaning. Ultimately, the work asks whether faith, desire, and endurance are worth the cost they demand.
Panel Discussion:
The panel will delve into the artists’ personal artworks, reflecting on vulnerability in practice, navigating visibility, and the care required when personal narratives meet public art.
Goa Open Arts, founded in 2019, is an artist-led initiative that supports and energises Goa’s creative community through festivals, exhibitions, grants, mentorships, and public programs.
