In cooperation with the Consulate General of Ireland, Mumbai, this early evening listening session features DJ and broadcaster Tara Kumar, whose sets blend house, electronic, hip hop, and R&B, shaped by global club culture. Held at dusk in an intimate gallery setting, the session moves between music and conversation, inviting audiences to experience electronic music as a space for listening and shared experience.
Tara Kumar is an Irish Indian Malaysian DJ and broadcaster based in London, known for sets that blend house, electronic, hip hop, and R&B shaped by global club culture and diasporic identity. She gained recognition on RTÉ 2FM and has since built a reputation as a dynamic DJ performing at major festivals.
The Consulate General of Ireland in Mumbai, established in 2019 and led by Consulate General Patrick Duffy, serves Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It strengthens Ireland-India ties through business, tourism, culture, and consular support.
