Art is a Voice:
If Art has been used for power, persuasion and propaganda by the dominant forces of our world, it has also been a tool of resistance and dissent for those who have been exploited, marginalized and exiled. Truth, which is silenced, can be communicated through art.
In this session, Kripa the author and illustrator of the latest title ‘Art is a Voice’ will talk about the book and introduce participants to activism through art thus urging all to care, connect and contribute.
For Ages: 12 years & Above
Time: 11.30 am – 12.45 pm

Room for Healing, Somnath Hore:
A 100 years ago were things very different in our world from how they are today? History has documented all that has changed since then but Artists document what remains constant over time and never changes. Let’s find out how relevant is the work of pioneer printmaker and artist Somnath Hore even today and how human conditions and suffering still continue. Let us talk about his ‘Wounds’ series and create room for healing.
For Ages: 10 years & Above
