𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 offers a diverse exploration of paper as a site of inquiry. From intimate interventions to structural reconfigurations, the artists reflect on temporality, transformation, memory, rupture, and renewal.

First shown at Anant Art Gallery, Delhi, this second iteration of the exhibition marks the culmination of the JK Paper Award for the Arts: Propositions in Paper, 2025 in partnership with JK Paper Ltd. and in collaboration with Arthshila Trust and Jaipur Centre for Art.

Founded in 2023, 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 (AFA) is a non-profit organisation supporting modern and contemporary art in South Asia. Through awards, symposia, residencies, and publishing, AFA fosters interdisciplinary exchange, critical dialogue, and institutional collaboration.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 hosted in partnership with Arthshila Studios in Parivartan, Siwan is an extension of the award’s core intention. Through this programme, we seek to champion practices that are process-oriented, independent and exploratory, encouraging artists to push the boundaries of paper as a material.
