The space is designed for interaction that aims to initiate dialogue, both between individuals as well as with the multiple resources available at the centre— its collection of books, films, digital media and educational content in the many fields of Visual Art and Art history. The centre intends to engage different audiences through its exhibitions, lectures, workshops, interactive dialogues, film screenings, children’s art engagements and more. The different spaces available within the centre seek to invite curious minds to participate in the curated programs as well as with the space itself. The centre aspires to carry forward the local ethos of Santiniketan—of knowledge exchange and cultural transmission.
